This website uses no tracking, no analytics tools, no advertising, and no user accounts. Personal data is processed in exactly two situations: when the page is technically served (server log files, section 3) and when you use the booking flow or write to me (sections 4 and 5).

The booking flow on this site collects your name and email address and transmits them to a service provider. Details are in section 5.

The hosting provider (Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) automatically collects information transmitted by your browser on every page request: IP address (anonymised), date and time of the request, the URL requested, browser type and operating system, HTTP status code, and the volume of data transferred.

This data is processed solely to provide the website technically and is deleted automatically after 7 days at the latest. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.

If you contact me by email, your email address and the content of your message are stored solely in order to handle your enquiry. The data is not passed on to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention periods apply.

For the booking flow on this site I use TidyCal, a service of AppSumo LLC, 1305 E 6th St, Austin, TX 78702, USA.

When you book an appointment, the data you enter — name, email address, the selected slot, and your timezone — is transmitted to TidyCal in order to create the appointment and send you a confirmation. The request is routed through my own server; no TidyCal widget is embedded in this page and no TidyCal cookies are set in the process.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps taken at your request). Providing this data is necessary for the booking; without it no appointment can be created. You can always request an appointment informally by email instead.

Transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. The data is deleted once the appointment has been completed and your enquiry dealt with conclusively. Further information: tidycal.com/privacy

This website sets no cookies at all — neither its own nor any from third parties. The language choice lives in the page address (/de or /en) and is not stored. No cookie banner is therefore required.
