2. Scope of processing

This website uses no tracking, no analytics tools, no advertising, and no user accounts. Personal data is processed in exactly two situations: when the page is technically served (server log files, section 3) and when you write to me or use the enquiry form (sections 4 and 5).

The enquiry form on this site collects the details you enter there. See section 5 for particulars.

3. Server log files

The hosting provider (Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) automatically collects information transmitted by your browser on every page request: IP address (anonymised), date and time of the request, the URL requested, browser type and operating system, HTTP status code, and the volume of data transferred.

This data is processed solely to provide the website technically and is deleted automatically after 7 days at the latest. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.

4. Contact by email

If you contact me by email, your email address and the content of your message are stored solely in order to handle your enquiry. The data is not passed on to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention periods apply.

5. Enquiry form

When you submit the form on this site, the details you enter are transmitted to my server and forwarded from there to my email inbox. No further service provider is involved.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, namely steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract. The details are required in order to process your enquiry; without them I cannot reply.

The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention periods apply.

6. Cookies

This website sets no cookies at all: neither its own nor any from third parties. The language choice lives in the page address (/de or /en) and is not stored. No cookie banner is therefore required.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data concerning you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).
