InvestGame Alpha

What it was

A simulation game for financial education formats and workshops. Up to ten teams compete, each managing a portfolio across seven asset classes — from stocks and crypto to real estate and gold — while the facilitator switches twenty quarters of market history live: rally, correction, sideways drift. Everyone sees the consequences immediately on their own device. Built with Next.js and Supabase Realtime, because a simulation without genuine simultaneity isn't a simulation, it's a form. It came out of training work: people don't understand risk from an explanation, they understand it once they've sold too late.
